FUNCTION

The FUNCTION command is an instruction that allows you to define custom functions within a program. These functions can be called multiple times, simplifying the code and making it more modular. The syntax accepts a name, one or more parameters, followed by an equal sign and from an expression. Functions are limited to a single expression, but parameters are local or global to the function, following the current context.

The use of this instruction can avoid repeating the same calculation multiple times, the code becomes more organized and easier to read and complex functions can be created with a single line of code.

SYNTAX

 FUNCTION name[parameters] = [expression]
