LET (data type)

The LET command is a statement used to assign a value to a variable. Although it is optional, and the assignment can be done simply by writing variable = value, this command can help to produce a more optimized code, since its syntax is a bit more limited. So, LET allows you to store a value (numeric or text) in a memory location represented by a variable, helping ugBASIC to retrieve it in an more optimized way.

SYNTAX

 LET variable = expression
