PUT MESSAGE

The PUT MESSAGE statement allows you to send a message to the port (and optionally the given channel). The message must be a string or an array (up to 256 bytes). If there is an error sending, an error is raised and the statement returns FALSE. Otherwise, it returns TRUE.

SYNTAX

 = [DOJO] PUT [MESSAGE]( port[, channel], message )
 [DOJO] PUT [MESSAGE] port[, channel], message )

An interesting competition is held at the beginning of each year: the BASIC 10Liner Contest. It is possible to use ugBASIC to participate in the next "BASIC10Liner" competition, in the following categories:
